The brief is to create a warm and cosy snug room for watching tv/reading with plenty of storage. They gave us a fabulous Pinterest board to show their ideas so we could hit the ground running with their design once we had visited the space. With new flooring, radiator, a fresh lick of paint and furniture and décor pieces, it is going to be a full transformation! There is currently a condemned gas fireplace built into a flat wall, so our design is going to see removal of that fireplace so that a faux chimney breast can be built out which will be encased in brick tiles and we will install an electric log burner. We will also incorporate plenty of storage to fit within the alcoves of the new chimney breast that we are creating.

Last month we shared with you where we are on the transformation of another client project (here it is) - this time changing a home office into a snug.

 

Well, the client has signed off the detailed brief and selected their dream sofa, accent chair and pouffe after they visited the amazing supplier which is Arlo & Jacob in Marlow.
