Our client had lived in this fabulous 5 bed Edwardian villa in Maidenhead, Berkshire for 20+ years. They were looking to downsize.

The property was spread over three floors and as part of our consultation, it was evident that there were a number of areas which neede tackling. These included:

address pigeon issue - we called in a specialist firm to address this
remove and replace flooring
decor in key areas including dining room, hallway and bedrooms and landing on top floor
new blinds on a number of windows
decor in dining room
prep and stain vestibule door and banister - what an incredible feature these are!
address electrical issues
repairs throughout eg. plasterboard, plaster hole and décor in ceiling and recreate coving in hallway
prepare and paint external paintwork around front door
fit door knocker
add more storage capability in box room
replace/add door handles
remove overgrown shrubs in front garden, cut back hedge on road side, add planting to front and rear
clear out 2nd floor completely before decorating adding new carpets and staging
remove out damaged furniture generally
sort through family possessions and move to new locations or dispose of (within home, charity and refuse)
complete staging solution by turning games room into dining room
create new dining nook in kitchen
create new home office
accessorising throughout and blending our pieces with our client's existing incredible pieces

When we finished, we took professional images and shared these with our client and their estate agent. Within 4 days of being listed for sale, this home was sold. Our repair and staging added over £100k to the home's value. Our client was very happy!

Property sold on day 4 and we increased the property value by £100k!
