Oak Barn, Ley Hill

Our client had lived in this fabulous barn conversion for 25 years which sits on an elevated position in Ley Hill, Buckinghamshire. They were looking to downsize (this is a 6,850 sq ft property set in acres of land) and had been trying to sell on and off for nearly two years with no success.
The property is vast so we suggested a combination of physical and virtual staging to show buyers the potential that this property offers. We also recommended that the client replace the lighting, curtains and carpet in the drawing room (which they did).
The drawing room is an incredible space with the oak structure very much on display. This space also has an interesting floorplan so we wanted to zone the spaces so buyers can visualise how they may use these areas. We removed the client's furniture so had a blank space to work with in the drawing room.
The current kitchen, although has been built to a high specification, does not offer open plan which many buyers now seek. We therefore recommended virtually renovating the extensive car port (30m long) into an extensive open plan kitchen / dining and living zones.
The client sold the home in 1 week for the full asking price of £3,500,000. They were absolutely delighted. Our client also purchased the side board as they had fallen in love with it.
"Ceri and her team were very professional and extremely enthusiastic from start to finish. Every care and consideration taken to explain every fine detail. The transformation in our home is incredible in fact exceeded expectation.
Ceri also produced a virtual kitchen space which would enthuse most buyers, quite a statement piece.
I wholeheartedly recommend sort style and stage.
