March Round Up

Hello! We're so glad to see you, here is a round up of what we've been up to in the month of March.

March kicked off with a busy start ...

We packed and removed our inventory from 3 x 4 bedroom properties (Maidenhead, Windsor and Chiswick) and 1 x 2 bed apartment (Maidenhead), given our clients have sold following our staging. Migh, there's no need to go to the gym in this job! When we returned the inventory to our warehouse, there was lots of sorting to do, so we are organised for our next client projects.

Other activities on our long to do list include staging, inside and out, a stunning luxury duplex apartment in Radlett, completing an interiors project in Acton and working to complete the redesign of a pre-teen bedroom. We've also been refreshing the look of our website! We've taken on new interior clients and also are starting a new staging project of a fabulous barn conversion in Bedfordshire.

Here's some of the detail ...

High View

We were so thrilled when we were approached by our client to help them stage their luxury, duplex, penthouse apartment. What a fabulous design by The House Designers. The apartment is full of light both at window and door level and also from roof lights in the ceilings. The open plan living area deserved special attention and on this project we supplied a baby grand piano. It turned this space into a show stopper! We worked our magic throughout and the end result is a magical space for buyers to spend time in. We know that the longer we can keep buyers at a property, the higher the chance of them making an offer. We also transformed the terrace, the balcony, the lobby outside the apartment as well as the main entrance into the building because we know that the sooner you create the best impression the more the buyer will connect with the property! As they say, there's nothing quite like kerb appeal.

The property was launched by Liani Mannifield of Keller Williams for sale on 25th March. To add further impact, a pianist created just the right ambience as guests arrived and there was food and drink on offer for everyone. The event was attended by the local Mayor for Hertsmere, John Graham, local businesses and residents.

John Graham, local Mayor, had this to say:

“... making sure that what you end up with is the right thing. I think what you have got here is absolutely wonderful.”

Ceri Owen, our founder says:

It was an incredibly proud moment to meet the local mayor, local businesses and residents to showcase this incredible apartment. The feedback we had was extremely positive. I'm very confident that we've given this apartment the best chances of selling."

Photography

As great a photographer as we *like* to think we are as individuals, we know that the next best thing after staging is professional photography. So once we're done staging, we meet with our professional photographer on site for the photo shoot. Take a look at some of our images.

Acton Heights

Furnishing our client's 1 bed apartment in London came with a number of difficulties, including a small lift, which was surprising, given this building is 57 floors high! With our mighty muscles and problem solving caps on, we got the job done so our client could move in ready to start their new job the following week.

Our brief was to furnish the open plan area, the single bedroom, the balcony and hall. Our client also wanted art work in the open plan area and a strategic mirror in the hall with floating shelf.

Once the furniture was built, to help the place feel more homely and as our young client would be moving in on their own, we made the bed and added a few complimentary pieces. These include cushions, a throw and faux plants, some decor pieces and we als cleaned the windows - well done Lucy! Migh, what a view to the city in the distance!

Coming soon ...

The young pre-teens bedroom is coming along swimmingly! Just a couple of finishing touches left. They've outgrown the original layout and design, so we wanted to create a bedroom fit for a pre-teenager. Stay tuned for the final result.

While all of this is going on, we're also in the midst of updating our site. We want to make it simple to use and easy on the eye, so keep an eye out for changes!

Don't forget to take a few moments out of your day to unwind. While you do so, please take a look at the fabulous video on our Homepage, created by @Chaiyaphotography. It's an amazing showcase of one of our renovation projects, Pinkneys Walk.

Phew, what a month it has been. We're looking forward to our upcoming projects, and some well needed sun!
